Educational Qualifications:
Diploma Trainee -> Diploma in Electronics & Communications Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks.
Junior Supervisor Trainee (HR) -> Two years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management / Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute with not less than 55% marks.
Assistant (Finance) -> B Com with first 1st division. Additional qualification of M.Com shall be desirable. Experience -Candidate should have One year Post qualification experience in Finance and Accounts function of an organization of repute; should have experience in processing payment and maintenance of Accounts of the organization; should have worked on Computers and familiar with various software used in Finance and Accounting function.
Selection Process: Written Test and Interview.
Written Examination -> The Written Test shall be of Object Type of two hours duration consisting of two parts:-
(a) Part-I consists of Technical Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions in your discipline. e.g. – If the candidate has applied for Electronics & Communications – then questions shall be in Electronics & Communications discipline.
(b) Part-II consists of Aptitude Test with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability etc.
(c) All questions carry equal marks (1). Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of 1/4.
Application Fee: Rs.300/- shall be payable by candidates belonging to General and OBC(NCL) category for the post of Diploma Trainee & Jr. Supervisor Trainee (HR) and Rs.200/- shall be payable by candidates belonging to General and OBC(NCL) category for the post of Assistant (Finance) through a non-refundable Demand Draft, drawn in favour of ‘Power Grid Corporation of India Limited’ payable at Nagpur. Bank charges will be borne by the candidate. No other mode of payment i.e., Money order, Postal order, Cheque etc., is acceptable.

(b) Should have one year post qualification experience of design / engineering / construction / testing & commissioning, etc. of HVAC / HVDC transmission system.
Experience in PSU / listed company particularly in Power sector shall be preferred.
Field Supervisor ->
(a) Diploma in Electrical / Civil Engineering from recognised Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC [NCL] candidates and pass marks for SC/ST category.
(b) Should have one year post qualification experience of design / engineering / construction / testing & commissioning, etc. of HVAC / HVDC transmission system. Experience in PSU / listed company particularly in Power sector shall be preferred.
Selection Process: Screening Test and Interview.
