Educational Qualifications:
(a) Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
(b) Registered as Nurse and Midwife under Indian Nursing Council Act 1947/ any State Nursing Council.
Application Fee: Rs.250/- for Demand Draft in favour of ‘The Director, JIPMER’ Payable at Puducherry (State Bank of India – JIPMER Branch). No fee for Persons with Disability (PWD).
Selection Process: Written Test
Scheme of Examination:
(1) The Question Paper will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective type in the subject of Nursing.
(2) The duration of the Examination will be 120 minutes.(2 hours)
(3) The Question paper will be only in English.
(4) Each correct answer will carry One mark. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
How To Apply: Applications complete in all respects[prescribed Pro-forma (Annexure)] along with attested copies of certificates, It should be neatly typed / hand written on A4 size paper. Completed applications addressed to "Director, JIPMER, Puducherry-605006" on or before 03/04/2015 (till 04.30 P.M). Application cover should be super scribed as "Application for the Post of STAFF NURSE (Code no.:1)".
